Current Responsibilities

Tewfik Sabongui is the founder and partner of the newly registered company THREESIXTY s.r.o. in September 2017, which offers real estate and consultancy services in the Czech Republic and CEE. Additionally, Tewfik is the founder and Managing Director of Tewfik Sabongui Company Ltd in Cairo, Egypt since 2007, a family establishment and continuation of the family activities of Sabri Sabongui and The Chemical & Engineering Supplies Co. Ltd., which started back in 1968.

In THREESIXTY s.r.o., Tewfik is jointly responsible for the overall operations, performance and growth of the business, including the strategic planning, business development and client relationships. Tewfik also takes active daily role in identifying potential leads, dealing with ongoing transactions and negotiating on behalf of his clients across various business lines to cover Office Leasing, Tenant Representations, Industrial Leasing, Land Search, Investment and Acquisitions. He also offers his consultancy and advisory services to clients: investors, occupiers, owners and developers.

Experience

In Real Estate and in the Czech Republic and CEE, Tewfik has over 19 years of experience.

From 2007 till January 2017 Tewfik was the Managing Director of JLL Czech Republic and since 2011 became one of three key CEE Board Members (more members were added later on) overseeing seven countries in the CEE/SEE region and aiming at setting up and implementing strategies across the region and connecting the region’s platform and clients.
out of which 16 years with Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Czech. During these 16 years with JLL, Tewfik was a key CEE leader and instrumental to the growth of JLL’s business in the Czech Republic. Tewfik was heading various departments and business lines between 2003 and 2010, such as Office Agency, Industrial, Retail, Tetris (Design & Build Solutions) and Residential.

Tewfik was also instrumental in setting up new business lines in the Czech Republic such as Tétris Design & Build (Fit Out and Design Solutions) and Residential and was involved in the planning and process implementation of a major M&A in Czech back in 2011, when acquiring King Sturge, where he was directly responsible for the planning, team restructuring, execution, IT migration and the internal and external communication of the M&A across Czech and Slovakia.

Among Tewfik’s daily responsibilities and activities were setting up wider business strategies, supporting business growth, conducting management tasks, strategic planning, business development, setting up and meeting the budgets and advising both clients and end-users. Tewfik was working closely with the various leasing, advisory and investment business lines on an on-going basis to win and grow the business and he was constantly focused on developing client relationships. Over these ten years as Managing Director, the office has seen a constant growth in revenues, profits and a head count growth from 42 to 145 people in the Czech office during which JLL Czech won various local and regional awards across the different business lines.

In Egypt, Tewfik has over 25 years of experience in the Egyptian market as a Representative and Commercial Agent, with a specific focus on trading and importing industrial, chemical and technical supplies to both the public and private sectors, a family run business he continues after his father with an 18 people office locally based in Cairo.
